Copying data from PDF

New patients and clients are constantly being referred from primary care or from other hospitals and institutions. Their medical records come into the healthcare facility as a PDF via secure mail. You then usually manually transfer the data from their medical records into the institution’s own EHR or ECD. This is a time-consuming task.

Additional workload

Per patient or client, this takes a lot of time that does not benefit the patient or client. Moreover, it leads to additional workload for the healthcare provider. On top of that, the error-prone nature of this method is high, as mistakes can always be made with manual entry.

FileFactory for Care

That’s why we developed the FileFactory for Care. The FileFactory for Care can automatically transfer all data from any type of digital file into any EHR or ECD. So it does not matter how the data are delivered and in which EHR or ECD they are to be written away. The result? Cost reduction, fewer errors and less workload. You can maintain much of the existing process since the data has already come in securely. So no linking of EPDs or ECDs is still needed to transfer the data!

DataFactory

Patient privacy is crucial and under no circumstances do you want data to be on the street from a sandbox or acceptance environment. You also don’t want employees to see patient data that they shouldn’t see.

So in all these situations, you need a useful set of non-reducible patient or client data.

EntrD developed the DataFactory for this purpose. The DataFactory anonymizes patient or client data in a smart way. Representativeness and reliability remain intact while traceability disappears. And not only in the EHR or ECD but also in the linked systems such as the lab system, for example.

The Datafactory is suitable for any EHR or ECD and a plug & play version is available for commonly used EHRs such as HiX. Complying with ISO 27001, NEN 7510 and the GDPR has never been easier!

In addition, an optional module is available for Chipsoft HiX homes that can be used to create a representative subset of the entire population. This provides significant savings in terms of storage and the turnaround time of a refresh goes down significantly.
